Send me an e-mail describing
what kind of portrait
you are looking for. You need
to decide on whether you'd like "head only" or "full
body" portrait, and on the size, medium,
and background of the painting. We will discuss
this
by e-mail and
agree on details and price of the painting.
40% of
the purchase price is due when ordered (nonrefundable)
, and 60% due before shipment after you have
seen the image via e-mail and given final approval.
You will
need to send several quality photographs (if
possible) of the subject. You can send them by e-mail
(jpeg
files) or by regular mail. Please note which
photo best represents
the pose, background, the expression, eye color,
etc., you would like to use in the portrait. Separate
photos of each pet can be combined into a single
piece of art. Note that to create a realistic combination
all animals MUST be photographed from the same
perspective
(point of view).
The photographs will be returned
with
the completed portrait. Painting will be
completed in approximately 3-6 weeks. However, the
times
vary and are subject to the size of painting,
number of
subject in the painting and availability
of open
time slots. Once the painting is done, a
digital copy of
the portrait will be sent to you via
e-mail. At this time, you can accept the painting
or
suggest the
changes to be made. After these changes
are made, you will
receive another copy for your approval. The
second half of the commission price is due upon
acceptance of the painting. The painting will
be
shipped upon receiving payment.

be mailed to you via USPS Priority
mail (insurance is available upon request).

for up to 11" x 14" painting

Quoted prices are for watercolor, pastel or acrylic pet portraits on
a simple background.
Add 33% for double portraits. Add 50% for three
or more pets per painting.

Paintings are not framed
or matted.

Each commissioned portrait is one of a kind. I do
not offer prints of your commissioned portrait unless
you state before hand that you would like to have prints
made to help raise money for a worthy cause. Please
note the artist retains all copyright of the commissioned
artwork. In the future I may decide to use some of
my commissioned portraits to be reproduced as my favorites
on greeting cards and or calendars. I also retain all
rights to display the commissioned artwork for advertising
on my web site and or brochures. |
